DRIVING DIRECTIONS
An airport bus links the city centre Erzsébet Square bus s
tation with the airport every 30 minutes. There is an airport m
inibus service to any address in Budapest, and a pre-pay local
bus, 93, from the airport to the underground metro terminus, K&
#246;bánya-Kispest - although passengers may wish to aligh
t at Deák Tér where the three underground lines meet.
Taxis are available from the airport at the taxi stand, but th
eir fares can be unregulated; passengers should negotiate a far
e before leaving the airport. Budapest has an inexpensive and e
fficient public transport system with easy links between the me
tro, HEV trains, buses, trams and trolleybuses. Tickets can be
bought from metro stations, kiosks and newsstands.
